The electrical pass through is pin 1,2 & 3 of the 5 pin side to normal pin designation 1,2 & 3 on the 3 pin side. No jumpers or rewiring needed. You can use this to send DMX signal over my XLR snake, it should converts 5 pin DMX to 3 pin XLR.
